Terry Keeley is a resident of the town of Portville, New York. He is the
current Town Supervisor of Portville and was one of several persons who
lead the successful taxpayer revolt against unfair property reassessment
in Portville in 2007. He lives in Portville with his wife and their twin 2 year
old girls and is a property owner in both the Town of Portville and the
Town of Cuba, New York.
He is a strong advocate of New York State assessment and property tax
reform and has worked with the county and state government legislators
as well as the NYS Office of Real Property Services to bring about

He retired from the high tech industry in 2000 where he was the chief
internet officer and one of the chief technology officers of Sun
Microsystems, the world leader in forming the network computing
infrastructure that runs the majority of corporations and the internet
worldwide.
Since retiring, his focus has been on giving back to the community
through taxpayer advocacy, pro bono business consulting, pro bono
technology consulting, and long range community planning for long term
economic and personal success of individuals, families, and the
communities within which they live.
